HNTB continues to experience impressive growth in its Great Lakes Division, driven by the increasing demand for transportation-related projects and the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional results. To support this rapid expansion and meet the needs of clients throughout the region, HNTB has significantly expanded its footprint and workforce, attracting top talent from across the industry.
In 2022, the region, which includes Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin, grew its employee base by 15 percent and is expected to exceed that number this year. The new hires have brought a wealth of expertise and diverse perspectives, bolstering the firm’s capacity to provide solutions to clients in the region.
“The addition of highly skilled professionals has been instrumental in elevating our capabilities and enabling us to deliver outstanding solutions to our clients,” said Chris Gale, PE, HNTB senior vice president and Great Lakes Division president. “Their expertise and dedication have further strengthened our position as a go-to partner for transformative infrastructure projects in the region.”
The firm has also grown its office spaces in Chicago; Indianapolis; Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Madison Wisconsin; Detroit, Allen Park and East Lansing Michigan.
By increasing its physical footprint, HNTB is better positioned to engage with clients, understand local issues and deliver tailored infrastructure solutions that address the unique needs of each community. These new and expanded office spaces provide a platform for closer collaboration, allowing HNTB’s experts to work with clients and stakeholders, developing strong relationships and driving successful project outcomes.
“HNTB’s dedication to fostering growth through expanded office spaces and an exceptional team reflects our profound commitment to being a trusted local partner, delivering innovative infrastructure solutions that leave a lasting, positive impact on the communities we serve,” said Gale.
HNTB has worked on, or is currently involved with, some of the most high-profile infrastructure projects in the Great Lakes region, including the Brent Spence Bridge, Red Line Extension, I-69 Finish Line, MCTS CONNECT (East-West) Bus Rapid Transit, Opportunity Corridor, O’Hare Airport, I-375 Reconstruction and Third Avenue Bridge.
