Donnett Cox receives PWC NY 20 Under 40 award

HNTB group leader recognized by Professional Women in Construction, New York Chapter

NEW YORK, N.Y. (Nov. 14, 2023) – The New York chapter of the Professional Women in Construction organization has recognized HNTB’s Donnett Cox as one of its 2023 20 Under 40 award recipients. Cox is the group director of transportation-construction services in HNTB’s New Jersey office.

PWC NY is a professional organization for women in the architecture, engineering, construction and related sectors. The 20 Under 40 Awards recognize individuals who are excelling in their careers, and this year’s recipients will be recognized at the group’s annual holiday party on December 7, 2023.

Cox played a pivotal role in overseeing the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s massive JFK Redevelopment program. In her role as senior project manager, she oversaw the renovation of a 206,000-square-foot office building which will serve as the headquarters for the JFK Redevelopment program. Her project management skills were further demonstrated as she led a team of engineers through the intricate processes of design, procurement and construction, overseeing a portfolio of 25 contracts.

Cox received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and her Master of Science in construction management from New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering.
