Donnett Cox joins HNTB’s New Jersey office as group director

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (Oct. 25, 2023) – Donnett Cox has joined HNTB’s New Jersey office as group director of construction services. Cox transferred from HNTB’s New York office, where she held an impressive eight-and-a-half-year tenure, most recently serving as senior project manager.

“I am delighted to welcome Donnett to HNTB’s New Jersey office,” said Stephen Dilts, HNTB’s New Jersey office leader and senior vice president. “Her extensive civil engineering experience and project management prowess are invaluable to our team. I have high expectations for her role in growing and strengthening our construction services practice.”

As group director of construction services, Cox will be supporting a variety of clients including the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She will also be responsible for growing HNTB’s construction services team in order to continue to deliver exceptional services to each client of HNTB’s New Jersey office.

Prior to joining HNTB’s New Jersey office, Cox played a pivotal role in overseeing the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s massive JFK Redevelopment program. In her role as senior project manager, she oversaw the renovation of a 206,000-square-foot office building which will serve as the headquarters for the JFK Redevelopment program. Her exceptional project management skills were further demonstrated as she led a dedicated team of engineers through the intricate processes of design, procurement and construction, overseeing an impressive portfolio of 25 contracts.

Cox received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and her Master of Science in construction management from New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering.
