The Civil + Environmental Engineering Virtual Exchange is an engagement fair that encourages networking between students, alumni, and recruiting professionals that will open the door to co-op, intern, and full-time opportunities. The benefit that a formalized engineering co-op or professional internship has on engineering undergraduate students is deep, as it provides exposure to real-world engineering industries, develops business communication and documentation skills, and creates an understanding and appreciation of engineering far beyond the textbook.
