Mark Ingram joins HNTB as project director in Houston

Industry expert brings 30 years of traffic and transportation engineering and planning experience

HOUSTON (Feb. 22, 2023) – Mark Ingram, PE, has joined HNTB Corporation as a vice president and project director in HNTB’s Houston office. Ingram brings more than 30 years of traffic and transportation engineering and planning experience for projects in Houston and the surrounding region.

“Mark brings an impressive level of leadership, expertise, and proven industry experience to HNTB that will be an invaluable asset as we deliver the largest, most complex mobility projects in the Houston region,” said Mike Voinis, PE, Houston office leader and vice president. “We are thrilled to welcome him to the team.”

Ingram has extensive experience performing feasibility studies, intersection safety evaluations, access management, signal timings, toll system evaluations, transit studies, traffic signal design, alternative intersection analysis/design, intelligent transportation system planning, port planning, and sub-regional mobility studies.

Prior to joining HNTB, Ingram served as the national traffic practice lead for another consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas, Missouri, Louisiana, Minnesota, Arkansas and Alabama.
