“We have long-standing relationships with many clients in Northern California, including California High-Speed Rail and Caltrans, so establishing a physical presence here was a natural next step,” said Shannon Gaffney, HNTB’s Northern California and Nevada office leader and vice president. “This new office allows us to be more closely connected to the communities where we live and work while also reinforcing our commitment to building and fostering relationships in the area.”

The new Sacramento office enables HNTB to work more closely with its clients in Northern California, building on the firm’s established presence in the region with existing offices in San Jose, Oakland and San Francisco. This expansion into Sacramento comes in response to the increasing demand for HNTB’s infrastructure-related services across Northern California, further solidifying the company’s commitment to the region.

HNTB is currently involved with several high-profile infrastructure projects in Northern California, including the environmental clearance of the California High Speed Rail Authority segment from Merced to San Francisco.

HNTB is actively recruiting top talent in the area to join its team of experts and contribute to the success of current and future infrastructure projects. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the HNTB careers page for more information on job openings and the benefits of working for HNTB.
