Delia Riggi receives ENR New York Young Professionals Award

HNTB rising star recognized for community and industry leadership

NEW YORK (Nov. 17, 2023) – HNTB’s project manager Delia Riggi has been selected by Engineering News-Record New York for its Top Young Professionals for 2024. The annual competition recognizes young leaders who are making an impact in their industry and community.

“This is a well-deserved recognition for Delia,” said William Torres, HNTB’s vice president and group director. “Delia has grown her skills and continues to make a positive impact in the construction industry and her local community.”

Riggi is responsible for program management and project controls, driving contracts, leading design teams, progress tracking and reporting, project and construction estimating, cost tracking and forecasting, scheduling and document control supervision. Currently, Riggi is working in a variety of program and project management roles for several complex Port Authority of New York and New Jersey projects, including the AirTrain Newark Replacement project.

Riggi also has served as co-chair of the Young Professionals Committee for the New York Building Congress and was awarded the New York Building Congress’ Emerging Leader Award in 2022. Riggi is a current member of Professional Women in Construction and the Construction Management Association of America and was recently appointed to the Lehigh University’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Board.
