Recognition celebrates HNTB’s role in fostering diversity and inclusion
OAKLAND, Calif. (Dec. 30, 2024) – HNTB’s Northern California office was honored as the 2024 Corporation of the Year. The recognition was presented by the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials Northern California chapter during its Annual Scholarship & Industry Awards Gala. This recognition celebrates HNTB’s longstanding support for COMTO’s mission of providing full access to employment, career and contract opportunities for minorities within the transportation industry.
The COMTO Annual Scholarship & Industry Awards Gala celebrates honorees who have demonstrated leadership and commitment to advancing diversity in the transportation sector. This year, HNTB was honored for its strong partnership with COMTO Northern California, including hosting the Summer Intern Reception for the past two years and maintaining the largest membership representation among large prime firms in the chapter.

Earlier this year, HNTB also was honored as Corporation of the Year at the 2024 COMTO National Conference, a testament to the firm’s unwavering commitment to advancing equity, innovation and transformative change in communities across the county.
