Cheryl Seinfeld joins HNTB as Southeast Government Relations Manager

South Florida government relations professional brings federal and local expertise to firm

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (June 3, 2024) Cheryl Seinfeld has joined HNTB Corporation as government relations manager in the firm’s Southeast Division. Seinfeld will be supporting HNTB’s South Florida offices, focusing on government relations, external communications, spearheading community involvement efforts and supporting the firm’s clients in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area.

With more than 20 years of experience in the legislative process, Seinfeld brings a keen and unique understanding of handling complex issues. In addition to managing her own government relations consulting firm, Seinfeld’s experience includes working in gubernatorial appointed positions in legislative affairs for state agencies, including the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4 in Fort Lauderdale.

Seinfeld helped successfully deliver voter approval of Broward County’s Mobility Advancement Program, a 30-year, one percent surtax to fund needed transportation improvements throughout the county.

She is active in many Broward County civic and leadership organizations, including Leadership Broward, Class 28, Big Brothers Big Sisters and serving as co-chair of the Broward Days Transportation Committee. Seinfeld received her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
