Jim Riley Returns to HNTB as national pursuit champion

Prominent industry professional returns to HNTB with successful career of client relationships and strategic transportation market knowledge

CLEVELAND (July 25, 2022) – Jim Riley returns to HNTB Corporation as national pursuit champion. He is based in the firm’s Cleveland office, offering continued counsel for HNTB’s clients across the country while growing the firm’s footprint as part of the national sales team.

Riley brings more than 30 years of experience leading sales and operations organizations. Prior to rejoining HNTB, Riley served as national transportation director for another consulting firm where he managed growth strategies and operations. He has developed advisory services practices for public and private agencies focusing on alternative delivery, public-private partnerships, revenue alternatives, technology enhancements, and program delivery. As Deputy Director of Innovative Delivery for the Ohio Department of Transportation, he developed several cost-savings and revenue enhancing programs.

In addition, Riley is founder of the Woo Who Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to providing needed services to the breast cancer community.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Dayton and a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University.
