Jonathan Rushmore joins HNTB as national aviation architecture market leader

Practice leader brings strategic, program and client leadership to support growth in aviation architecture

BOSTON (Jan. 23, 2026)Jonathan Rushmore, AIA, NCARB, has joined HNTB as national aviation architecture market leader. In this role, Rushmore will help guide the growth and strategic direction of the firm’s aviation architecture practice, partnering with clients nationwide to advance major aviation programs from early visioning through delivery.

With more than 25 years of experience, Rushmore has worked on some of North America’s most complex aviation and transportation programs. His work includes leading major aviation projects and terminal modernization efforts at large hub airports such as Boston Logan International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Tampa International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and other non-hub airports of varying sizes. His experience spans strategy, terminal planning and development, airside, landside and airport support infrastructure, often in active and constrained airport environments.

Rushmore’s background includes leadership roles in mass transit and transportation projects, as well as governmental facilities and international development.
