Seasoned leader brings deep client relationships and regional experience to support continued growth across the Garden State
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (June 1, 2026) – HNTB Corporation named Jacob Argiro, PE, as office leader for its New Jersey office. In this role, Argiro will oversee operations, client service and strategic growth initiatives from the firm’s Parsippany office. He moves into the role after serving as office leader for HNTB’s Connecticut office for six years.
Argiro brings a strong track record of leadership and client delivery across the Northeast. During his tenure in Connecticut, he strengthened partnerships and advanced key transportation programs while building a high-performing team focused on delivering results for clients.

In New Jersey, Argiro will work closely with HNTB’s clients including the New Jersey Department of Transportation, New Jersey Turnpike Authority, NJ Transit, and regional authorities and municipalities to help advance critical infrastructure programs that improve mobility, safety and economic vitality.

While leading the Connecticut office, Argiro partnered with clients including the Connecticut Department of Transportation and local municipalities to support major infrastructure initiatives, helping position HNTB as a trusted advisor in the state.
Argiro graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in civil engineering. He has served as a board member for the American Council of Engineering Companies since 2016 and is a registered Professional Engineer in three states.
