HNTB expands Denver office with new lease

Expansion of downtown office enables firm to address and support continued growth

DENVER (July 28, 2022) – HNTB, a leading infrastructure solutions firm, has signed a lease for additional office space at its downtown Denver office. The firm’s expansion enables HNTB to meet its current growth plans in the Denver metro region. The office’s central location at 1700 Lincoln Street, Suite 2450, provides prime accessibility for HNTB employees, clients and industry partners.

“After cultivating significant relationships in the Denver area, we are thrilled to announce this growth milestone,” said Reza Akhavan, PE, HNTB Denver office leader. “The work we have done in Colorado is a great source of pride for HNTB. Our Denver office expansion illustrates the firm’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent. It also enables our growing team to meet the needs of the dynamic Denver community.”

HNTB expanded into Colorado in the 1970s, and today its Denver location is home to more than 60 employees. The office expects to grow to more than 100 workers by 2026 to meet increasing demands for transportation planning, engineering, architecture, program management and construction management services.

In recent years, Denver has witnessed a surge in activity. HNTB has supported significant projects for clients that include the City and County of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Denver International Airport, the Regional Transportation District, and the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Within the last year, HNTB has won several projects and secured contracts, including a service development plan for CDOT’s Front Range Passenger Rail project, a risk mitigation plan for railroad safety for the City and County of Denver, and an environmental assessment for a proposed seventh runway with the Denver International Airport.

HNTB’s past work for Denver International Airport includes architectural and design services for the Concourse Renewal Program and design services for Concourses A-West and B-West as part of the airport’s Gate Expansion Project. HNTB also served as the design and construction manager on the airport’s Program Management Team for the Hotel and Transit Center.
