HNTB’s public involvement team has designed and implemented the public engagement strategies for this program from the start. This effort has included publishing the program’s Public Involvement Plan, facilitating dozens of stakeholder briefings and public involvement meetings, the establishment of an advisory group and an in-person community open house with hundreds of attendees. Public engagement continues to be a major factor for this program’s success.
