Bridge Management and Inspection Management System

HNTB delivered an updated bridge management plan, a comprehensive bridge inspection manual and a modern asset management solution supporting the migration to paperless inspection forms to be used on mobile devices. HNTB developed his cloud-based web application to specifically help with compliance of Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Bridge Safety Standards. The solution now provides MNR with secure, direct online access to legacy and current railroad bridge and asset data, including design plans, repair plans, inspection reports, structural load ratings, condition ratings and client-specific risk factors.  It serves as MNR’s dynamic capital planning tool for its approximately 800 structures (overhead and under grade bridges and tunnels), providing value beyond the FRA’s requirement to create a bridge management system.
