Jennifer Schultz appointed HNTB’s Capital Region business development leader

Veteran communications professional to lead strategic growth initiatives

ARLINGTON, VA (Sept. 12, 2024) HNTB has named Jennifer Schultz, PMP, its Capital Region business development leader. In her new role, Schultz will oversee client service teams and lead growth initiatives across Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C. and West Virginia, aligning with HNTB’s regional strategic goals.

With over 10 years at HNTB, Schultz most recently served as the strategy and sales leader, spearheading initiatives to scale the Nashville office and support public-sector clients in Tennessee and Georgia.

In her new role, Schultz will lead strategic direction for HNTB’s Capital Region, focusing on developing and nurturing key client relationships. She will collaborate with teams throughout the region and leverage firmwide resources to enhance the firm’s distinguished track record of client success while exploring avenues for expansion. Additionally, she will engage closely with clients to assess project needs and strategize to ensure project goals are met.

With a solid track record in the transportation infrastructure sector, Schultz brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. She has been instrumental in advancing client’s largest and most complex projects and programs, including the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Major Mobility Investment Program and I-285/SR400 improvement projects, as well as the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s priced managed lanes and public private partnership program, Integrated Program Delivery and Empowering People, Influencing Culture initiatives, and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority’s MARTA 2040 project.

Schultz holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She is a certified project management professional and has earned a project management certification from the University of California Irvine.
