HNTB’s Shannon Meder and Theresa McClure to serve on boards for American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina

Leading infrastructure solutions experts bring insight and vision to advance organization’s mission and enhance mobility across the state

CHARLESTON, S.C. (July 29, 2024) – HNTB’s Shannon Meder, South Carolina practice lead and vice president, and Theresa McClure, national practice consultant and vice president, have been appointed to board positions for the American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina.

Meder will continue her tenure on the board of directors, a position she has held since 2023. “I am honored to continue my service alongside fellow industry leaders as we further ACEC-SC’s mission to advance engineering and infrastructure needs in South Carolina,” said Meder. “Our collective efforts are crucial in addressing the state’s growing infrastructure challenges and fostering innovation in the engineering sector. I am excited to collaborate with such a dedicated team to drive progress and deliver impactful solutions.”

McClure serves as the vice president of the chapter’s Infrastructure Works Institute board, which conducts research that supports sustainable and increasing investment in South Carolina’s infrastructure. “It is a privilege to be part of this critical initiative that supports smart investments directed at improving mobility in our communities,” said McClure. “This year, we will launch our research project aimed at understanding how infrastructure investments across the state enhance the quality of life for South Carolinians.”
