HNTB named a 2026 Best Place to Work and Yoga Chandran recognized among Los Angeles Business Journal’s Indispensables
LOS ANGELES (September 22, 2026) – HNTB has been named one of the 2026 Best Places to Work by the Los Angeles Business Journal, marking the third consecutive year the firm has received the distinction. In addition, HNTB Los Angeles office leader Yoga Chandran was named to LABJ’s inaugural 2026 Indispensables list, which recognizes leaders who make a meaningful impact within their organizations.
Together, these recognitions highlight HNTB’s longstanding commitment to fostering an environment where employees are empowered to grow their careers, support one another and help clients deliver infrastructure that benefits communities throughout Southern California.

The 20th annual Best Place to Work rankings are based on a detailed, confidential survey of top Los Angeles companies, with questions covering leadership, corporate culture, communications, training and development, and more. The results come directly from employees, who rate their company’s performance across a range of areas that directly affect their professional lives. Corporate practices, policies, philosophy and demographics are also factored in the rankings.

In California, HNTB has been serving clients for more than a century. The firm’s first design project was the Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, which was dedicated in 1913.
