HNTB names John Binsse and Kimberlee Waiwada Location Leaders in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg

Recognized regional leaders to support growth and advance transportation priorities for clients and communities

PITTSBURGH/HARRISBURG, Pa. (Oct. 2, 2025) HNTB has named John Binsse, PE, as location leader for its Pittsburgh office and Kimberlee Waiwada, PE, as location leader for its Harrisburg office. In these roles, Binsse and Waiwada will partner with teams to support successful operations, while focusing on client service and strategic growth tailored to the unique needs of each region.

Binsse has nearly two decades of experience in planning, design, construction and maintenance of complex civil projects. He has played a pivotal role in program and construction management, as well as engaging stakeholders across a wide range of transportation initiatives throughout the state and region. His leadership is defined by a collaborative approach and a focus on building partnerships that support client goals.

Waiwada, a project controls manager with 20 years of experience, has led program management efforts for key transportation agencies including the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, SEPTA, Amtrak and Pittsburgh Regional Transit. Her leadership on the statewide All-Electronic Tolling Conversion program—the largest of its kind in North America—demonstrates her ability to navigate high-profile initiatives with a client-first mindset.
