Planning and policy leader to strengthen client partnerships and support Colorado’s transportation future
DENVER– (September 18, 2026) – HNTB has named Evan Enarson Colorado location leader. Based in the firm’s Denver office, he will guide and support employee development, client service, project delivery and strategic growth across the state.
“Evan’s collaborative leadership style, strategic perspective and deep understanding of Colorado’s transportation priorities make him well suited to lead our team in the state,” said Catherine Curtis, HNTB’s Mountain West office leader. “He has a strong ability to bring people together, translate complex challenges into actionable strategies and help teams deliver meaningful outcomes.”
Throughout his career, Enarson has led complex planning efforts and worked with multidisciplinary teams, agency partners and community stakeholders to develop practical, data-informed transportation strategies. His Colorado experience includes managing the City and County of Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure’s Denver Moves Everyone strategic transportation plan and supporting several Colorado Department of Transportation initiatives, including statewide asset management, strategic highway safety, freight, freight and passenger rail, and statewide and local transit plans.

Enarson earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado College and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan.
