Firm recognized for empowering women and fostering leadership in the transportation sector
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Sept. 29, 2025) – HNTB has been named Employer of the Year by the South Carolina Chapter of WTS, an organization dedicated to advancing women’s opportunities in the transportation industry. The award honors HNTB’s commitment to offering mentoring programs, fostering career advancement and promoting women into leadership roles.
Nationally, HNTB serves as WTS’ exclusive Pinnacle Partner and as a champion sponsor of WTS South Carolina. In South Carolina, more than half of HNTB’s staff are women, including several who hold key leadership roles within the chapter. HNTB professionals helped found the WTS South Carolina Chapter in 2019 and have continuously served in board leadership positions since its inception.

The Employer of the Year award will be presented at the WTS South Carolina Chapter’s annual recognition event in Charleston.
