HNTB named 2025 Best Place to Work in Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle

Recognition reflects firm’s investment in people, partnerships and infrastructure across Georgia

ATLANTA (August 29, 2025) — HNTB has been named one of the 2025 Best Places to Work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, a distinction that reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to its employees, its clients and the communities it serves across Georgia.

The ABC’s annual ranking is based on comprehensive employee feedback evaluating key areas such as organizational leadership, employee engagement and overall job satisfaction.

The recognition comes at a pivotal time for HNTB, the firm recently relocated and expanded its Atlanta office to a new, modern space in Midtown. The move supports HNTB’s long-term growth strategy and reinforces its investment in Georgia’s infrastructure future.

HNTB has held a major role in improving Georgia’s infrastructure for close to 60 years, partnering with clients such as the Georgia Department of Transportation, Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the City of Atlanta. The firm is currently supporting major client initiatives for GDOT serving as the program management consultant on major transportation projects in the region and across the state of Georgia, advising on transportation project investment and delivery through public private partnerships. HNTB also provides construction engineering and inspection services, traffic management operations, environmental services among others for GDOT.

Additionally, HNTB has a long-standing relationship with MARTA, serving as the agency’s general planning and general engineering consultant. As a trusted advisor to MARTA, HNTB has developed plans for many of the agencies’ major corridors and developed engineering plans for MARTA’s infrastructure, systems and facilities. At the airport, HNTB serves as the on-call architect for large projects and developments, maintaining Georgia’s vision of remaining the epicenter of transportation in the southeast.
