Craig Rolling joins HNTB’s digital transformation solutions group

Accomplished data scientist brings significant expertise designing, building and deploying innovative analytics which enable businesses to make informed decisions

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (June 27, 2024) Craig Rolling has joined HNTB, a leading infrastructure solutions firm, as a principal digital technologist/data scientist. Rolling brings more than two decades of experience in consulting, academic research and innovative analytics approaches which enable data-driven decisions.

In his new role, Rolling will deliver applications of artificial intelligence in the effort to make transportation infrastructure systems more efficient, safe and sustainable. He will achieve this by applying emerging technologies and the latest data sciences/AI techniques to our collaborations with clients to design and implement digital infrastructure solutions.

Rolling holds a Doctor of Philosophy in statistics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in statistics from the University of Chicago. Furthermore, Rolling served as an assistant professor of biostatistics at St. Louis University and assistant professor of business analytics at the University of Oregon.
