Michael Inabinet is the Central Division president of HNTB Infrastructure. He has served as the firm’s Southeast Division president and Mid-Atlantic district leader and has 20 years of professional engineering experience in municipal and transportation-related programs. He has led project teams on a full spectrum of client services on large and complex programs, including highway and bridge projects for the Virginia and District of Columbia departments of transportation. Having begun his career with HNTB in 2005 in Austin, Texas, as a project manager, Mr. Inabinet has progressed through a number of leadership and operational roles in the firm’s Austin, San Antonio and Arlington, Virginia, offices. During his time in Texas, Mike helped lead a Texas Department of Rural Affairs Program for disaster recovery in 300 communities following Hurricanes Ike and Dolly. He is experienced in leading diverse public works and transportation teams of all sizes, bolstered by hands-on engineering experience in preliminary engineering, modeling, analysis, planning, design, technical reviews, quality management and construction of major infrastructure projects. Additional experience includes identifying funding alternatives, strategic infrastructure program development and implementation, and the oversight of large, complex engineering programs.
