HNTB names Catherine Curtis Mountain West office leader

Proven relationship builder and team leader to guide continued growth across the Mountain West

SALT LAKE CITY (August 13, 2026) – HNTB Corporation has named Catherine Curtis Mountain West office leader. Based in Salt Lake City, she will lead HNTB’s operations across Utah, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona, overseeing project delivery, client service, business development and strategic growth.

Curtis brings more than two decades of transportation industry experience to her new role. Most recently, she served as HNTB’s West Division business development officer, partnering with office and division leadership to align business strategies, strengthen client relationships and support growth across multiple western states. In that role, she helped advance major pursuits, attract top talent and position the firm for continued success across the West Division.

Throughout her career, Curtis has helped organizations strengthen performance, deepen client relationships and pursue strategic growth across DOT, aviation and rail/transit markets. She is known for translating market intelligence into actionable strategies, aligning multidisciplinary teams and developing talent to support strong business performance and long-term growth.

Curtis earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of Utah.
