Dallas Stars New Arena

The Dallas Stars’ proposed new arena in Plano will establish a distinctive home for the franchise and create a year-round destination for fans and the broader North Texas community. HNTB is serving as the lead design firm for the arena, which is envisioned as an intimate, energetic environment that reflects the passion of the Stars fan base and strengthens the connection between the organization and the communities it serves.

Located west of the Dallas North Tollway, the arena will serve as the centerpiece of a broader mixed-use district being advanced with the ownership of The Shops at Willow Bend. The development will bring together sports, entertainment, retail, dining and public gathering spaces. The project represents an opportunity to shape a destination that is unmistakably rooted in the identity of the Dallas Stars while reflecting the character, culture and continued growth of North Texas.

The arena will be designed to capture the intensity and energy of NHL hockey while bringing fans closer to the action and creating an exceptional experience for fans, players and the broader community.
