Muhammad Ali named senior project manager for HNTB

Aviation infrastructure professional brings more than 15 years of experience

LOS ANGELES — (Nov. 7, 2024) — Muhammad Ali, PE, has joined HNTB Corporation as senior project manager for aviation infrastructure. Based in the firm’s LAX office in Los Angeles, Ali will play a key role in supporting airport projects for clients throughout the West, bringing his extensive expertise to enhance the region’s aviation infrastructure and deliver high-impact solutions.

With more than 15 years of experience in managing complex design and construction projects across aviation and other critical infrastructure sectors, Ali has worked extensively in the North America, South America, the Middle East and south Asia. Most recently, he managed multiple airfield improvement projects at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, where his expertise ensured the successful execution of high-profile initiatives that enhance airport efficiency and safety.

Ali received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology and a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of Florida. He is a registered professional engineer in several states.
