Rankings from San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal rank HNTB #17 among mid-sized firms
OAKLAND, Calif. (May 19, 2021) – The Northern California offices of HNTB Corporation, an infrastructure solutions firm, are among the 2021 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area, according to the San Francisco Business Times, Silicon Valley Business Journal and Quantum Workplace, a research firm.
The ranking conducted by the publications recognizes companies with the highest levels of employee satisfaction and engagement as measured from input to a confidential survey assessing employee attitudes toward the firm’s leadership, culture, training and work environment.
The rankings were revealed at a virtual event earlier this month. HNTB was recognized for its final ranking of #17 amongst mid-size firms. This is the first year HNTB participated in the competition in Northern California.
Quantum Workplace organizes 47 Best Places competitions across the country.
“With the unique challenges our clients, offices and region experienced during 2020, every person on our team went above and beyond to create and maintain a collaborative and inclusive environment,” said Jeff Watson, PE, HNTB Northern California office leader and vice president. “This competition confirmed what I already know; HNTB is among the best of the best. I congratulate and salute every member of the Northern California team because they are the ones that made this honor possible.”
HNTB is a leading infrastructure solutions firm in the U.S., with roots to the West since the firm’s first year of operation in 1914 and has since been involved in some of the region’s most high-profile, complex infrastructure programs.
