Houston Chronicle’s’11th annual rankings names HNTB first on the list’s engineering firms of similar size
HOUSTON (Nov. 23, 2020) – HNTB Corporation, an infrastructure solutions firm, is among the Top 130 Workplaces out of 2,543 participating companies, according to the Houston Chronicle’s 2020 ranking. HNTB ranked first in the list’s engineering firms of similar size.
The Top Workplaces recognition is based on an extensive employee survey that proves excellence in areas such as company leadership, compensation, training, workplace flexibility, diversity and more. This ranking reflects the commitment of the companies doing exceptional work in these categories and looking to position their teams for future success as well. The impacts of COVID-19 have placed even more importance on how companies develop and strengthen their connections with employees and maintain a supportive culture despite the remote work environment of 2020.
This year was the 11th annual ranking conducted by the Houston Chronicle and 37,000 employees were surveyed as part of the process, reflecting the diversity that exists in the business community. An evaluation of HNTB’s corporate practices, policies, philosophy and demographics is also included in the ranking.
The company rankings were published in the Nov. 15, 2020, issue of the Houston Chronicle.
