Orange County Business Journal’s annual awards celebrate exceptional businesswomen
SANTA ANA, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2020) – The Orange County Business Journal recognized Gail Farber, PE, HNTB Orange County office leader and vice president, at its 2020 Annual Women in Business Awards Luncheon and Program, held virtually this year.
In its 26th year, the annual awards celebrate Orange County women who lead by example, demonstrate effective business vision, and positively impact the world of business and their communities. The program celebrated Orange County’s extraordinary businesswomen and highlighted their accomplishments.
“We are proud that Gail has been honored among the top businesswomen in Orange County and congratulate her on this honor,” said Wayne Feuerborn, HNTB West Division president. “She is not only a talented transportation professional but serves as an excellent role model for young women looking for professional careers in our industry,” he added.
Farber is based in the firm’s Santa Ana office and serves as Inland Empire office leader as well. She was acknowledged by the Orange County Business Journal for her leadership, business achievements and dedication to the community. With more than 35 years of transportation industry experience, she leads project delivery and the firm’s strategy to continue growing in Southern California.
For the Orange County Transportation Authority, Farber serves as client service leader and has experience across the spectrum of public works. She is both an engineer and executive manager for a diverse range of HNTB’s signature projects.
