Current and anticipated growth drives new organizational structure
DETROIT (Feb. 5, 2021) – HNTB Corporation announced new leadership positions in Michigan, growing the office’s leadership team and positioning the firm for continued growth in the state’s burgeoning transportation infrastructure market.
Regine Beauboeuf, PE, was named senior vice president and Detroit location leader. In this role, Beauboeuf ensures that HNTB’s largest Michigan office, which includes more than 70 designers, planners, engineers and other professionals, continues to meet the needs of public and private sector clients in alignment with the objectives of HNTB’s business plan.
Additional leadership appointments include Victor Frendo, vice president, who was named construction, engineering and inspection (CEI) group director, and Dave Langlois, PE, who was named associate vice president and design group director. In HNTB’s East Lansing office, Karianne Steffen, PE, was named vice president and traffic, ITS & planning group director.
“We’re investing in our Michigan talent and are thrilled to help our clients tackle some of the most challenging and impactful transportation projects in the state,” said Eric Morris, PE, senior vice president and HNTB office leader in Michigan. “In the past year we’ve added 25 new teammates, and we will add another 25 teammates by June of this year. These new leadership positions capitalize on the experience and relationships of proven leaders in our organization and structure it to continue delivering innovative solutions for clients on time, on budget, every time.”
HNTB’s Michigan leadership team also includes Tom Weston, PE, vice president and program management group director, and Tony Migaldi, vice president and DOT client service leader, who are continuing in their roles.
HNTB’s presence in Michigan currently includes more than 140 professionals across five offices in Detroit, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, Sterling Heights and Jackson. Notable Michigan projects for HNTB include serving as owner’s representative for Michigan Department of Transportation’s I-94 Modernization, intelligent transportation systems engineer of record for MDOT’s US 23 Flex Route and owner’s representative for Macomb County’s Innovate Mound program.
