HNTB expands its Connecticut office to support firm’s growth in the state

Firm builds on decades of providing transportation infrastructure solutions in Connecticut

ROCKY HILL, CONNECTICUT (June 19, 2024) – HNTB, a leading infrastructure solutions firm, has expanded its Connecticut office to support its growth. The firm expanded its presence at 55 Capital Boulevard to accommodate the 50% growth in the number of transportation professionals in the past year. The expansion is in response to the increased demand for HNTB’s services and meeting clients’ transportation needs in the region.

“The Connecticut office has grown significantly in the past few months,” said Jacob Argiro, HNTB Connecticut office leader and vice president. “We’ve attracted talent from all over to come work on some of the most critical transportation projects in the state. As a result, we’ve expanded our office space to accommodate for this growth.”

Earlier this year, HNTB was recognized as a Best Places to Work in Connecticut by the Hartford Business Journal, which awarded this recognition based on workplace culture and job satisfaction among employees.

“HNTB is proud of the rich history and diversity of expertise in our firm,” said Gary Bua, HNTB Northeast division president and senior vice president. “As programs increase in size and complexity, we will continue to focus on driving equitable solutions as we bring industry-best minds together to deliver transportation infrastructure to meet the community’s needs.”

HNTB has been involved in several major transportation programs in Connecticut, contributing expert planning, design and construction services for approximately 40 years.
