HNTB expands downtown Milwaukee office

Accelerated growth drives expansion in Milwaukee just 24 months after moving downtown.

MILWAUKEE (Oct. 12, 2021) – HNTB has signed a lease to expand its office space, increasing the total lease by 3,100 square feet to 27,000 square feet total. In the last 24 months, HNTB grew its workforce from 90 to more than 110 staff, with open requisitions for over 30 new positions, driving the expansion of space on the 19th floor at Two-Fifty building on east Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee.

“Even with market sectors facing significant economic headwinds in 2020 and 2021, HNTB has continued to hire talented engineers, planners and construction staff in Wisconsin and currently has over 30 open positions. Downtown Milwaukee continues to be a tremendous location for retaining our existing team and attracting additional talent,” said Ashley Booth, HNTB Wisconsin office leader and vice president. “Designing and delivering complex infrastructure solutions that keep communities moving and prosperous demands talented teams, close collaboration and strong partnerships. Our expanded presence in Milwaukee’s vibrant downtown area promises to strengthen HNTB’s already proven ability to deliver for clients, some of whom we have served here for more than 60 years.”

HNTB’s clients include Wisconsin Department of Transportation, cities of Milwaukee and Madison, Milwaukee County, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, the Milwaukee Bucks and others. HNTB delivers engineering and architectural services for bridges, roadways, highways, tolling, transit, rail, planning, program/construction management and more to clients throughout Wisconsin and the U.S.
