America THINKS
Planning, Prioritizing and Paying for America's Infrastructure
Now as never before, Americans are debating the future of our nation’s infrastructure.
As part of that debate, the nation needs to determine a vision that will guide federal surface transportation policy and funding well into the future. It comes at a time of economic turmoil, a presidential administration brought to power on a platform of change, and increasing awareness that the gas tax is no longer sufficient to pay for the roads, bridges and rails the country needs.
HNTB supports the development of a new, long-term well-funded vision for America's infrastructure. To encourage dialogue and discussion among industry professionals, elected and appointed officials and the general public, we’re asking, "What do you think?"
The firm most recently asked a series of questions regarding high-speed rail and aviation security and safety in America. Additional research is planned throughout the year.
