HNTB is the lead designer for the expansion and extension of the I-95/I-395 bus rapid transit/high occupancy toll lanes, a project that is underway as part of a public-private partnership. Responsibilities include design of roadway and bridges, retaining walls, drainage, intelligent transportation systems, signal and signage, toll systems and lighting from the initial concept development through preliminary and final design. The design will include all elements of construction for a multimodal transportation facility.
