With the help of an HNTB-patented technology called TrueViz OnTarget®, a software tool that helps engineers visualize and modify training range designs before construction, the U.S. Army is designing more realistic training ranges with more accurate line-of-sight to targets. This technology shortens the design phase, helps avoid millions in unnecessary costs and greatly decreases impacts to the environment, expensive clearance of areas with unexploded ordnance, and unnecessary earthwork improving warfighter training.
