Tacoma Narrows Bridge
Tacoma Narrows Bridge

The design and construction of the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge exemplifies the best of design-build project execution and teamwork, for the benefit of the owner and the traveling public. This design-build project was completed in direct response to voter approval to relieve congestion along State Route 16 and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The new Tacoma Narrows Bridge is 5,400-feet long with a 2,800-foot main span and includes four traffic lanes consisting of three eastbound general purpose lanes and one high occupancy vechicle lane.
