HNTB’s master plan made recommendations to the University on improvements to Spartan Stadium that included the addition of suites, club seating, site improvements and increased pedestrian circulation. Phase I opened in 2005 and involved a west sideline expansion, which includes a new press level, club seats, an interior club and private suites.
