HNTB is leading five planning charrettes for a variety of facility types for US Army Materiel Command (AMC) for Army Field Support Brigade Facilities at Fort Knox and Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Bragg, NC, and Fort Stewart, GA. Unique to the charrette process is HNTB’s use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools during the actual charrette itself to streamline decision making and the preparation of all required post-charrette efforts. HNTB’s services also include the preparation of draft and final DD Form 1391’s including the identification of the required measures and potential costs resulting from achieving a minimum Silver LEED rating.
