HNTB successfully prepared an Installation Master Plan update on a fast-track schedule in the Fall of 2005 to accommodate the early rapid buildup at the installation due to BRAC 2005. The expected increase of almost 11,000 soldiers, 14,000 family members, and 2,400 civilian and contract employees by the year 2011 will generate a tremendous need for additional facilities and infrastructure improvements.
