HNTB designed a flexible office space to accommodate expanding technologies, and, through the reuse of a historic building, daylighting and select interior finishes, were able to move towards a sustainable environment. The workstation furniture systems fabric was fabricated from recycled plastics and the carpet and ceiling tile have a high recycled content. A majority of the occupants have access to natural daylight and views to the outdoors from their work areas.

The project received a Cornerstone Award from the Kansas City Economic Development Corporation and an AIA Award of Merit for its contextual design.
