Since joining HNTB in 1978, Ray McCabe has become one of the nation’s most respected authorities on the structural design of long-span, movable, signature and complex bridges. He is instrumental in providing direction for the firm’s bridge and tunnel service, strategically guiding the practice to its national leadership position.

As a recognized expert in the industry, McCabe, based in HNTB’s New York City office, has been involved in numerous award winning signature bridge projects, including the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge in Boston; the Blennerhassett Bridge in West Virginia; Dames Point Bridge in Jacksonville, Fla.; Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge in Omaha, Neb; and the Mississippi River Bridge in St. Louis.
