Gowen E. Dishman, PE

Gowen E. Dishman, PE, senior resident engineer based in the Boston office, has provided technical excellence on the construction of complex, long-span and cable-stayed bridges throughout the country for more than 30 years. He is a founding member of the American Segmental Bridge Institute and has served on its Construction Practices Committee for 20 years. Dishman is frequently published and recognized in Engineering News-Record for his work on complex bridges, with 12 of his projects featured on the cover. Dishman has worked on 17 complex bridge projects and served as resident engineer on the award winning U.S. 82 Mississippi Crossing Bridge in Greenville, Miss., and the Choctowhatchee Bay Bridge in Florida. He also played a key role in HNTB winning the I-10 Twin Spans project in Louisiana across Lake Ponchartrain.
