HNTB, in partnership with Garvin Design Group, completed improvements to the Williams-Brice Stadium fan experience through new club spaces. The renovation aimed to enhance in-stadium recruiting capabilities for the football program. Renovations will include space in the Crews Building to feed and host recruits, along with a front-row viewing patio for the 2001 Club entrance. Nestled beneath approximately 33 new four-person loge boxes and an observation deck, the 2001 Club is a two-level air-conditioned space that will accommodate not only loge patrons, but also roughly 300 more fans, and will provide the purchaser access to spectacular views of the Gamecocks entering the field to theme music from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

In addition to providing affordable club seating options, the renovation plans also clear the way for a variety of exciting future investments which will greatly improve fundamental issues facing the stadium today. These plans include using spaces previously occupied by the football program for a more fan-friendly experience in terms of concourse and concessions traffic flow, access to amenities such as air-conditioned areas and more restroom facilities.
